2nd Pregnancy

I AM BACK. HOLLA.

I think noboday noticed it though... Anyway I am gonna give birth AGAIN. SOON.

Edd: 2nd April 2016.
Gender: Boy
Hospital: TMC

Yes, a boy. Close factory! After this I just want to enjoy my motherhood journey that I missed out on my girl. Because I got pregnant again after a year. I couldn't really carry her for long and play with her.. Sorry darling, will compensate you soon...

This time round I have decided to opt for TMC. Shall give it a try as Mount Alvernia doesn't let me walk around while in the delivery suite and I've got back labour at that time of delivery. Not a good experience... And the old nurse there quite fierece. Me don't like. But then, definitely the space and condition of the surroundings are much more better then TMC. Pros & Cons...

3 more weeks to my maternity leaves! Hell'yeah

Mr Aw's birthday and baby turns 2 month old!

Hola! Finally there is something for me to blog about. LOL
My everyday life: Morning wakes up bath my girl, feeds her then I will try to get some rest, setting up my page and advertising and playing with my baby.. I think it's about there la.
Only this week I felt like I've got many things to do and I don't know why.
Maybe just came back from Malacca and I am rushing to plan husband's birthday.
Then there's itinerary to do for our Taiwan trip on January.
I am so excited! This is the first time I'm travelling with friends!

So there you go! Photos time.

Happy birthday to you, my dearest! Please be good, don't be naughty ok!

Just yesterday, we went to the Ocean Restaurant at RWS to celebrate his birthday.

Entrees first... SLURPS!
I don't eat oysters but yet I do feel like eating one when I saw it! The caviar... Hmmmm

Then the Main Course! I like the lamb neck and lobster. lol

To the dessert

They do have a minimum spending of $68 ++ per pax and their servings are quite small..
So if you do have a big appetite then it's not really a good place for you to dine in.
Anyway, I was expecting the place will be a lot bigger but nah, actually is quite small though.
But! Overall I love the view! The aquarium... Oh, the Manta Ray ~

Back home,

I KNOW HE'S DELIGHTED TO SEE THIS CAKE BECAUSE IT'S HIS FAVORITE FOOTBALL TEAM.
The last minute cake that I specially ordered for him. LIVERPOOL YNWA ~

Mr Aw said," Please carry Furby and tgt take photo also leh. So poor thing to be left out."
Once I carried, Furby was aiming the cake!! Gosh.. This dog...

Happy 2nd month baby!
So glad that this baby is my baby! She is starting to make lots of noises, gurgle and coos and of course she smiles a lot too!!! So sweet of her just now when I went out to the living room and greeted her "hello baby!" she smiled at me straight away! Hehe
Hello chubby cheeks! Going to baby spa this Sunday again!
How I loves to see her swim~

Full month celebration & bits of other lil things

Yes I'm back finally!
Typing it out carefully in order to minimize the noises while baby is sleeping.
It's just so rare to see her sleeping at this timing.
Uhuh yeah she usually wakes up more at night then in the day.
(Today counted lucky already...)

Both of them sleeping soundly... Awwwww~

Baby Ariselle just turned full month!
Yay! How fast is that! A blink of an eye seriously.
It feels like she's just born yesterday, when I get to see her for the first time.
I miss that moment lol. I don't miss that pain though... Ahem!
Anyway...

Tadah!
Her full month cake and cupcakes from sweetestmoments ! Aren't they pretty?

Nevertheless, thank you to those who makes the effort for coming down and giving baby girl her ang baos and pressies! I know, we are such a bad hosts, couldn't really entertain some of you. Hahaha. Please understand us ya...

HER #OOTD with a cute minnie mouse crotchet hat (bought from Qoo10) saying hi while asleep.

Being a new parent is hard but yet we enjoy much because we get to learn new things along the way, like getting to know her, finding new patterns coming out from her and realized it ain't so bad at the end of the day. (Despite the late night cryings and sleep deprived)
Last of all seeing her growing up healthily!

SO IN LOVE WITH LE NAILS!
Got to do it at Delicious nails before Ariselle's full month.
Hurry up.. There's promotion going on now! Go to their fb page right now!
I can start thinking what to do for my Christmas nail already. Hehehe...

That day was a fruitful one, got to meet up with my girls, did my nails and went to Hai Di Lao steamboat for the first time on a stormy night! Feels good to drink hot soup on a night like this!

My turn for my #OOTD !
I still look fat. wtf
Hey look, postpartum week 4 looking like this counted not bad already.
(Trying hard to make myself feels good on the size and weight...)
I am still stuck at 51kg though... Sigh.
I can't wear back my old size XS-S shorts and pants anymore.
I knows that there isn't much possibilities that I can go back to pre-pregnancy weight, but!
I will try my hardest.

Recently, there's a matter troubled me.
However, I shall make no comment on that. It's just.. I'm a big-heart person ya :)
And so I decided to let it rest. (Unlike you)

Okay! Just fed my baby girl, hopefully she sleeps at least 3 hrs so that I can catch a nap too.
My poor husband is working late tonight, so heart pain for him! Add some oil baby!

Ps. / I'm so excited for my Taiwan trip with husband and friends because finally I can get to relax myself for a week! Hehehe...

Oh... Wait.. Baby Ariselle is an overweight baby now. Shhhh~
BYE!

Birth story of Baby Ariselle

On my 38 weeks, gynae said " You have to be induce by next week because you do not have any signs of giving birth. " My husband and I were stunned but at the same time was glad because we're finally getting to see our baby girl! So we chose our date and I'm getting induce on the 10th of October!!!

10.10.2014
Woke up at 5 am, ordered mcdee and bathe before the war starts...
6.40 am - Reached Mount Alvernia Hospital.
Our admission was 7 am by right. Lol. Since we reached abit early so we sat outside the delivery suite and waited awhile... While waiting, my hub and I was so nervous and ended up not talking to each other. Silent moment... LOL
7.05 am - Nurse came and asked to go into the delivery suite and changed to hospital gown.
Lie down and waited for further instructions.  LOLOLOL.

7.20 am - Nurse came in, put on CTG test then my gynae, Dr Lawrence Ang came in too. Checked my dilation, only 1.5 cm don't know if I should laugh or cry. He told me, by 3 or 4 pm plus I've to be dilated around 4 cm then it will be good, if not I've to reconsider getting a c section.. Made me so worry!! It's not in my birth plan at all please! Next was to insert the pill and broke my water bag, it doesn't hurt though. Not as scary as what other people said. And then getting the enema, injecting a liquid thing into your butt hole in order for you to poo. Lol super shiok.

8 am to 10.45 am - Contractions getting stronger, still managable... But very constant though. Was getting so sore and achy on the lower back until I couldn't tolerate so I asked for laughing gas. All I felt was only drowsy and my whole face went numb, but I still can feel the pain and soreness ok!!! Useless thing. Anyway I felt a gush of water flows out when my contraction kicked in... That's when I know "ahhh is that my water bag?" It felts like I've urinated on the bed. Hahahaha. Feels so weird.

11 am to 12 pm - I cannot tolerate anymore, was crying badly so epidural came to my rescue!!! Lol!!! After feeling a electric shock on the butt, immediately I felt calm and peaceful and of course, numbness on the leg. I'm still at 1.5cm though... Super slow right... So they decided to have me drip instead to get my contractions stronger. And I kept telling baby girl pls be good and faster come out. All I know was I kept nagging and nagging. LOL even my husband also don't want to bother me already.

3.45 pm - Woke up by the nurse, came to check on me because she had to update on my progression to my gynae. Checked, 4 cm!!! I was so glad!!! Baby girl did listened to me!!!
Went back to sleep again....

5 pm - I felt like the epidural getting useless to me because it's getting achy on my lower back.. So I called the nurse... Guessed what, I've opened to 8 cm already!! It happened so quickly, I requested to increase the dosage of epidural but 15 mins later, it's still not working!
The achy became stronger and stronger, and I have the urge to push like passing motion. I called the nurse, she said " you're not ready to push yet!! Hold on... I will go and call your gynae "

5.25 pm - I really cannot tolerate not to push anymore, so the nurse told me that I can push anytime now because she saw alot of hair already. Lol, Saw her preparing the equipments, and I know it's anytime soon baby girl is coming out but my gynae is nowhere to be found or seen!
And yeah, when I felt baby girl's head was at my vagina,  just nice my gynae sat down wearing his gown slowly preparing while I was pushing. Just nice huh, the timing...

After pushing diligently, the next thing I heard was crying!!! Baby girl is out!!! I did it!!! Okay nth can described what I felt that day. Only mommies know! By the way, I didn't cried when she's out instead my husband teared. He knows my pain now... Dr Ang did my stitches while I was seeing the nurse clearing up for my baby. I just went blank but I was conscious though... lol. I was super exhausted after all the pushing.

Now I knew what's the laboring like, and really have to thumbs up for all the mommies out there, in any case whether natural birth or cesarean,  have managed all the ups and downs. Kudos to us!!!
Okay.. Time to squeeze some milk. The engorgement is super painful please!!!

37 weeks updates - Posterior position

Appetite have been really good nowadays, I swear I could eat up to 2 meals at once especially at night. Yes I'm a pig now!

Current weight: 60.5kg
Pre pregnancy: 43kg
Total weight gained: 17.5kg

× Mummies, doing the cervix check is it normal to have spotting afterwards? ×
I do have and got shocked for the first time.

Having my weekly check up now since starting last Friday. Good news is that baby girl's head is super low and I've dilated 1 cm, bad news is that she's facing upwards!! Meaning the back of her head is resting on my spine instead. This means I'll have a hard time delivering her out to the world....

Today went to see her again, and she's still facing upwards! My goodness. My gyane said that it's not good that I can still see her face in the 3D scan because of the position.

** This is called a posterior position. Babies have to be in an anterior position in order for mummies not to have a long and hard time laboring. **

Hopefully she will turn just in time.
It's not that I'm afraid I'll have a hard time...
It's because I'm taking epidural and to make it worst if she didn't turn, guaranteed have to do a assisted delivery. I don't want her face to be blue black :(
And of course,  I dread having a c section.
My birth plan is to have a natural delivery.

There you go, that's the only thing I'm worrying about. Not much time left for her to turn, and hopefully she will turn before she make the grand entrance!

×× Super detest cervix checking, it's so uncomfortable and painful! × ×
